Six steps. One deliverable.
Everything we need to start the audit comes from public-web data and your intake answers. Your team's time commitment is the form. No sales calls, no credential sharing, no kickoff meeting.
-
Step 01
Intake
Pulse Audit Enterprise
Short web-form questionnaire covering priority buyer questions, target personas, competitors, and business goals. Everything we need to start the audit comes from public-web data and your answers. No logins, no credentials, no CMS access required.
Your time: the form. That's it.
-
Step 02
Multi-engine crawl
Pulse Audit Enterprise
We run your site through a full technical crawl and test your priority prompts across Google Search, Google AI Overviews, Bing, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude, capturing the raw responses and the sources each engine cited. Pulse tests up to 10 prompts; SXO Audit tests up to 25 prompts; Enterprise tests up to 25 prompts per brand across up to three brands. (Bing note: our pipeline includes Copilot detection, but Copilot answers are not currently available through SERP APIs. Bing organic rank and presence is the live signal we report today.)
What we produce: Raw response log + technical crawl data. Nothing for your team to action yet.
-
Step 03
Citation & answer-share analysis
Pulse Audit Enterprise
For every prompt, we score who got cited, who got paraphrased, and who got ignored. We reverse-engineer why a given source won: page structure, schema, authoritative off-site mentions, or freshness.
What we produce: Competitor citation matrix. Gap analysis. A working draft of the finding list.
-
Step 04
Remediation plan & writing
Pulse Audit Enterprise
Every finding is paired with a specific, implementable fix: schema addition, copy edit, information architecture change, or new asset. We write the report as one cohesive narrative, not a dashboard dump. Pulse delivers a one-page exec summary plus a per-page JSON-LD schema pack; SXO Audit ships the full fix backlog plus a JSON-LD schema pack for up to 25 URLs; Enterprise adds per-brand backlogs and a per-brand JSON-LD schema pack for up to 25 URLs per brand.
What we produce: Draft report + prioritized backlog. Schema & JSON-LD pack.
-
Step 05
Delivery
Pulse Audit Enterprise
Final report and per-page JSON-LD schema pack delivered by email. Every deliverable is a written artifact your team can paste into a ticket, share internally, or excerpt for an exec summary. No live call, no scheduling, nothing to schedule around.
Your time: Read the report on your own schedule. Email with questions whenever.
-
Step 06
Implementation support (optional)
Pulse · 14 days Audit · 30 days Enterprise · 60 days
Your async Q&A window after delivery. Send email questions as your team ships the recommendations and we answer inside one business day. If you want us to re-audit after you've implemented, we quote that separately. No retainer.
Optional next step: A re-audit after you've implemented the fix list, quoted per scope.
What we won't do.
Good audits are opinionated. Here's what's explicitly out of scope - by design.
- No retainer
- The audit is a product, not the start of a sales funnel. We will not propose a managed services contract at the review call.
- No content production
- We'll tell you exactly what to write. We won't write it. You keep the voice, the bylines, and the margin.
- No link building
- We identify which off-site surfaces move the needle for LLM citations. Acquiring them is not our service.
- No vanity scores
- There is no "SXO score out of 100" in the report. Those don't correlate with revenue.
Book the audit. Get the fix list.
We take on a limited number of audits each month so every engagement gets senior delivery.
